Function

To strengthen the Service Desk team:
The ICT department has a total of 22 permanent colleagues in 4 teams: the service desk team, 2 development teams, and a team with network/system engineers.
The Service Desk team currently has 4 colleagues and is responsible for 1st and 2nd line support but is also end-to-end responsible for services such as end point computing, mobile devices, meeting rooms and some standard client applications such as MS Office, SharePoint,....

  • You handle ICT service requests from users such as access requests, user creation, granting licenses.
  • You investigate malfunctions on live systems after notification of the monitoring system or users and solve them yourself and escalate them to another team within the ICT department.
  • You work independently or as a team on small and large changes or projects within the domain of the computer and network infrastructure such as installation/relocation of new workstations, preparation of new end-user hardware or hardware in meeting rooms, rollout of new software, ...
  • You get to know the job through internal training, while doing it and, if necessary, supplemented with external training. You can of course count on the support and explanation of your colleagues.

Profile

  • Experience in similar position or several years of experience as first line and ready to grow.
  • Responsible and able to handle confidential information
  • Service-oriented
  • Stress resistant
  • Being able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Methodical, precise and orderly
  • Communicative, explanation/training doesn’t scare you off. Communicative, explainating/training do not scare you.
  • Eager to learn with strong cognitive ability

Knowledge requirements

  • Good ICT-technical insight
  • Windows 10 Client
  • Windows Server systems - understanding functionalities AD, DNS, DHCP,...
  • Good insight into the basic network configuration
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a plus
