Our client is a main provider of software developing services in the transport industry, based in Brussels with offices close to a main railway station.

Functieomschrijving

Within our client’s IT4IT team, you will work as a Platform Owner for a number of core IT Systems of their landscape. These platforms have recently been introduced in the organization, so your work will be a mix of propagating the role of the component in the IT Reference Architecture, starting a supporting team and performing the necessary continuous improvements of the platforms.

In addition to these new platforms, our client manages a number of older building blocks where the focus will be more on lifecycle management. These are quite technical applications, so we are looking for a technical profile.

• You will map out and document the needs of the organization in terms of the platform(s) for which you are responsible;
• You will translate these needs into concrete functional and non-functional specifications;
• You will be the representative for your platforms and therefore responsible for the prioritization of the backlog that exists for your platforms, you will operate as the internal product owner for this platforms;
• You will document the solutions and ensure that the documentation is up-to-date;
• You will coordinate with users, suppliers and other stakeholders to be able to draw up and manage the necessary roadmaps : improvements, bugs, incidents, etc;
• As an expert of the platforms you manage, you will be the point of contact for internal colleagues and as L4 you will assist support teams;
• You will monitor the coherence with existing business and solution architecture at all times and you will consult with the Enterprise, System and Solution Architects if necessary;
• You will participate in the development of test scenarios, functional tests and data cleaning.

Vereiste ervaring

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position : Application Owner, Technical Analyst, etc;
• You have knowledge of and experience with Agile Scrum;
• You have good all-round technical expertise in a container Platform based on Kubernetes and Rancher;
• You have experience of 2 years in either .Net or JAVA development, especially in the development of services/APIs;
• As a user or as an application owner or platform owner you have experience with other IT4IT systems : queueing systems, reporting systems, ESB, API Platform etc;
• You have good communication skills;
• You are methodical, you are accurate and you have attention to detail;
• You are proactive and organized, you have a highly problem-solving and practical mindset.
• You are fluent in Dutch and/or French, you have good active knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
