It will be based in Beerse, BE and would consider candidates based in any of the Janssen sites in Europe. This position may require up to 10% domestic and international travel. To address the unmet medical needs in the world, Janssen has an outstanding strategy “Janssen One” to continuously reinvent and reshape the product portfolio. In support of the “Janssen One” strategy, the Jansen Supply Chain will redesign and replace the master data and transactional processes to be future ready. Think about the rise of the new modalities such as CAR-T, Janssen Retina, vaccines, … where a smooth integration of external partners with specific technologies is key. In addition, there is a clear need to launch new products faster and in a global context. Further, the pile of data needs to be available to everybody and in real-time with one push on the button to accelerate fast decision making and profitable trade-offs. Today, within the set-up of the current systems which dates from the 1990s, this is not possible. Therefore, as part of the Digital Journey, a pivotal initiative has been started in close alignment with JJSC to Transform our Supply Chain end-to-end (TranSCend). We are looking for a strong leader that can set direction and can drive implementation based on proven knowledge and experience in the field of ERP Master Data and process governance solutions. The PLO – Master Data Governance role is part of the Master Data Management (MDM) PL within the global Supply Chain Technology (SCT) Plan & ERP team. The Master Data Management (MDM) PL is a growing and exciting product line that owns data management, data governance and data quality products that are deployed across segment, globally, and integrated with multiple product line capabilities across the Supply Chain. The PLO – MD Governance will deliver master data process integration solution (workflow) governed by process stage gates following the SCOR model to enable the launch and supply of products to our customers. The key accountabilities include delivering and maintaining a standardized and harmonized master data processes that optimizes data quality, timeliness, and effort; applying end-to-end data standards and outstanding insights to drive customer solutions; building scalable partnerships with business; to be adaptable to changing needs and demands; utilizing technology to drive innovative data solutions; and developing our talent as a distinctive capability. Responsibilities: The PLO is responsible for product line technological vision, strategy and delivery of product roadmap for Data Governance (workflow) capability for Janssen Supply Chain. The PLO will act as strategic partner to global and functional data stewards and business leadership teams. He/She will lead solution design, validation, and collaborate with the business process and product owners to co-innovate and shape product roadmap. Prioritizes product demand & backlog – understands economic models to manage prioritization and applies design thinking. Negotiate with the business to see what items are built and which are backlogged based on capacity, business value and priority. Accountable for planning, execution, and deployment of the master data process governance (workflow) capability for Janssen Supply Chain and the integration with the ERP ecosystem. Partner with the Business Technology Leaders (BTL), Technology Services, Enterprise Architecture (FEA) and Business Partners to implement sustainable end-to-end Supply Chain master data process design for Material, Supplier and Customer data domains and including functional master data objects within each process stage gate. (Bill of Materials, Routing, Production Version, contract, etc.) Provide subject matter expertise and leadership to ensure Regional, Global, and/or Enterprise driven projects move forward with an appropriate business process and data architecture. Resolve business and technical challenges and ensure realization of business benefits. Help Shape and Grow JJT organization to enable a global intake, build and sustain process that will drive parallel program releases and on-going operations, projects and enhancements as TranSCend goes live. Act as key technical advisor to project teams and manage medium to large sized projects. Define project scope, business benefits, project budget and potential risks & constraints. Coordinate, lead, coach, motivate and inspire the team to both deliver on agreed plans and foster an environment of continuous improvement and innovation. Work with strategic vendors and build strong collaborative relationships and establish common goals and objectives without sacrificing outcomes. Track progress of all project deliverables in the context of the larger program, using Agile methodologies and tools and PMx framework. Support financial planning and manage budget and spend using PMT tools. Prepare and deliver regular updates and communications (verbal and written) to the Business and Technology Leadership teams, and extended business partners. Qualifications Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required. A Master’s degree is preferred Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required. Previous experience implementing and/or supporting data management capabilities using SAP suite of products, such as SAP ECC/S4 and/or SAP MDG, is required. Demonstrated expertise in the supply chain data management, data standards, data governance, active/passive data quality, data reconciliation, reference and meta-data management. Ability to translate business requirements into Technical Epics/Stories. Experience working across multiple levels of business and IT stakeholders. Demonstrated experience and end-to-end responsibility in successfully leading large, global, cross-functional, multi-disciplined projects with a high degree of complexity and ambiguity with numerous dependencies in a matrix environment is required. PMI (or equivalent) certification preferred, FPX optional. Experience in leading initiatives (supervisory, project based, or delegation of duties) across a complex business environment, demonstrating excellent communication and business partnering is required. Demonstrated strong sense of urgency in completing deliverables, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong negotiating/ influencing skills, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills are required Ability to work effectively in highly matrixed organization and dealing with high levels of ambiguity is required. High impact individual with the ability to lead, collaborate, challenge, and influence peers, subordinates and senior management to drive projects to successful completion managing proactively risks/issues. Ability to embrace changes and to deliver IT solutions in a fast-changing business/IT environment. Previous experience in working in a global, cross-functional capacity is required. Good Knowledge with SOX, GxP compliance processes, as well as SDLC, Agile methodology and ability to optimize value delivered using the methodology.
