Our client, a leading Software, Information, and Communication Technologies company, with offices around the globe, is looking for a Java Architectto join their innovative team in Brussels, Belgium.They are a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations, and multinational companies, research, and academic institutes.

Job Type:Contract/Consultant

Max Daily Rate: 400 EUR


Requirements

Ideal candidates should have:


  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with 9 years of IT professional experience


  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline


  • Fluency (written and oral) in English and ability to follow conversation, meetings and read documents in French and/or English.


  • In depth knowledge of information systems matters


  • In depth knowledge in IT consulting matters


  • Working experience of JAVA (JEE) technology


  • Experience of Workflow applications


  • Working experience of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP)


  • Good knowledge in relational databases management


  • Good knowledge of UML Modelling language


  • Experienced with WS SOAP development on Oracle Web Logic application server


  • Experience in Object Oriented Design and Development, abstract thinking, reusable components design and development


  • Experience with Message Oriented Middleware/Enterprise Service Bus technologies


  • Experience with micro services and RESTful paradigms


  • Experience with modern UI paradigms (client-side scripting)


  • Experience with standards/APIs: XSD, SOAP, JAX-WS, JAXB (possibly also JAXRPC)


  • JEE 6 environment and standards


  • Experience and knowledge of EJB3 and Vaadin technologies


  • jQuery, Angular 4+


  • Experience with tools: Eclipse/Workshop 10.3, Ant or Maven, SoapUI


  • Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, XML


  • Capacity in preparing and writing studies


  • Ability to apply high quality standards


  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings and be excellent communicator


  • Capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment


Responsibilities:


  • Architecture, design and review of the architecture of information systems


  • Analysis of the integration of different information systems


  • Analysis, design and implementations of services and composites in SOA context


  • (BPMN, BPEL, SCA)


  • Production of using case models, software architecture documents, design and analysis


  • models, implementation models


  • Follow up of the data analysis and data modelling


  • Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture


  • Help to deployment of the components, help to configuration management


  • Documentation of the technical implementations and the composites


  • Evaluation and testing of technical components delivered by other teams to ensure that they conform to requirements and methodology


  • Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users


  • Assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting


  • Assistance or support in the resolution of production issues may be requested
