Position

As a Junior Accounts Payable Accountant, you play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our accounts payable processes. You contribute to the operational execution of the finance department within a dynamic, international project-based company. Working closely with the Senior Accounts Payable Accountant and two other accountants, you ensure reliable and efficient processing of all incoming invoices and account balances.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Independently managing accounts payable for assigned entities
  • Verifying, registering, and following up on incoming invoices
  • Quickly and accurately resolving issues within the invoicing process
  • Monitoring supplier balances and processing expense reports
  • Reporting to accountants on processed files and related issues
  • Performing ad hoc tasks and contributing ideas for optimizing the AP process

In this role, you report to the Senior Accounts Payable Accountant, making sure the engine of our finance department runs smoothly!

Profile

  • You have a first experience in finance, preferably in an Accounts Payable role.
  • You hold a graduate degree in Accountancy or equivalent by experience.
  • With your financial focus and positive attitude, you can work with your colleagues to meet departmental objectives.
  • You have a hands-on mentality and can work both independently and as part of a team.
  • You are precise and analytical.
  • You are interested in technology and international trade.
  • You are driven to learn and want to expand your knowledge.
  • You are communicative, socially adept, and proactive.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus.
  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English.
