Purpose:

We are looking for a committed Junior Technical Service Scientist to support the implementation of the EMEA Life Science Technical Service & Applications strategy.

In this role you contribute to establish the Company as the technical leader in its key areas of competence, jointly with the R&D, marketing and sales teams.

Your main tasks include – but are not limited to:

• Conduct lab work to support technical requests from the EMEA customer base, under supervision of a TS scientist

• Develop formulation concepts illustrating the use of LZ ingredients that answer regional customer needs

• Perform application studies to explore the potential of LZ ingredients

• Develop test methods and provide claim support testing to demonstrate the performance of LZ ingredients

• Maintain awareness of market trends / competition

• Observes good housekeeping and good laboratory practice at all time, follow correct safety procedures and reports unsafe practices

• Maintain all tools and materials for environment and security purpose

Your profile :

• Master in Cosmetics, Chemistry or related field

• A first experience in a personal care laboratory is an asset

• Understanding of cosmetic formulations, handling of chemicals and safe work practices

• Fluent in English, knowledge of any other (European) language is an asset

• Computer literate

• Team player with a positive, can do attitude

• Combine creativity and accuracy
