The Channel Sales Strategic Account Consultant, will sell the CCC Industrial portfolio (cocoa powder, butter, liquor, chocolate, coatings & fillings) and solutions through intermediaries such as distributors. In this role, you will nurture relationships with one of our European distributors, execute the CCC distributor strategy, aligned with the FIBI distribution strategy. Tasks include cultivate relationships that drive top-line growth, and develop processes and metrics aligned with making the distributor partner a robust pan-European sales channel.
The candidate for this role must:

- Execute the CCC Distribution roadmap: achieving commercial growth targets with Distributor
- Build, Develop & Maintain internal / external customer / client relationships.
- Lead the development and management of distributor relationships to achieve targets and growth objectives
- Deepens customer insights, deepens understanding of distributor needs (present/future).
- Identifies value and facilitates solution discovery with offering service/knowledge/insights.
- Knows how to “manage expectations”.
- Develop and drive the roadmap for further optimization of the CCC Distributor Strategy including roll-out of a Pan-European approach
- Monitor distributor performance and ensure contract commitments are upheld
- Developing, maintaining, and implementing key account planning and delivery process through SFDC
- Positioning Cargill for leading opportunities by presenting the company’s standard capabilities and solutions
- Overseeing proposal development; helping create offerings that represent maximum value to the Distributor, Customer and Cargill
- Directly overseeing contract management negotiations and price list formulation strategies with G&D PLM Technical Service Support and Issues – product support initiatives and promotion (with TS)
- Opportunity and Project Pipeline reviews
- Participate periodically in distributor performance reviews together with Enterprise Distributor Lead and first point of contact for FIBI EDL
- Primary interface with local distributor entity to set and deliver targets
- Budget Accountable for the countries and region associated to key distributor
Minimum Qualifications
- University or Higher Vocational degree
- Fluent in English, French and preferably one other European language (Italian)
- A minimum of 10 years experience in sales (account management) and preferably experience in working with distributors

- Working experience in a complex matrix-organization
- Experience with customer initiated cross functional project management.
- Affinity with food industry – preferably Cocoa and Chocolate
