Lab Technician

• Support the R&D Engineers who are responsible for the development of medical products, with applications in wound care, ostomy care, surgical and consumer care
• Testing of physical properties of medical products, interpret test results and make recommendations.
• Conduct analytical testing like HPLC, GC, Infrared, etc…
• Perform and coordinate stability studies to determine shelf life of medical products
• Conduct lab mixings with new formulations and develop prototypes
• Calibration of lab equipment.
• Supports test method development and validations
• Technical writing: write experimental protocols, reports, test plans, product and raw material specifications, and other technical documentation
• Supports initiatives to maintain a safe lab environment

Temporary position for 1 year, possible extension

• Bachelor in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering,….
• Min. 1-5 yrs experience of working in highly regulated lab environment (e.g., ISO 13485, GMP, GDP, …)
• Analytical testing experience, preferably HPLC testing.
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Detail oriented, accurate and well organized
• Able to simultaneously support multiple tasks on multiple projects
