Mission Statement

We are looking for a highly motivated Maintenance Manager.

In this role you will contribute to the success of Buckman EMENA by improving operational excellence and achievement of Manufacturing’s overall objectives through leading the Maintenance Department, driving a continuous improvement culture, implementing projects, meeting customer and associate needs.

Expectations for the role
  • Lead and coach the Maintenance Team;
  • Developing the team and processes going to a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM);
  • Set up effective plant maintenance strategy, scheduling and on-time completion of work orders
  • Proactively manage and integrate Safety, Health and Environmental plans, programs and activities within the Manufacturing Services department as well as set intermediate departmental objectives to achieve overall Buckman goals;
  • Identify department projects with excellent ROI potential and ensure adherence to timing and budget;
  • Contribute to development the annual capital plan and compile department expense budget in conjunction with the Plant Manager;
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards;
  • Work in close collaboration with the Production Manager to ensure production continuity.
Minimum requirement to apply
  • Master’s Degree – preferably in Mechanical Engineering or correlates;
  • Minimum 5 years’ related experience in maintenance management in the chemical process manufacturing industry. Having developed and implemented a maintenance strategy is a plus;
  • Good knowledge of TPM, Supply Chain fundamentals, project engineering management;
  • Good understanding of Financial management principles and strategy implementation;
  • Advanced relationship building skills, communication and influencing;
  • IT/Computer skills (Plant management software, MS Office, BI software, ERP).
