The mission of GRA Business Enablement is to ensure streamlined, simple, and lean business processes across GRA, so that compliance becomes effortless and embedded within the organization. This is supported by using data and business insights to enable active monitoring and continuous improvement of GRA processes to drive quality results in a compliant manner.
Effective business solutions, governance, and reporting are needed to ensure that the organization moves towards data-driven decision making. This role is responsible for delivering metrics reporting processes in partnership with various cross-functional organizations. The manager independently makes recommendations and decisions that drive continuous improvement. The Manager ensures appropriate leadership engagement in issues, using a systematic approach to solving problems. The position identifies and understands complex problems and recommends common, effective, compliant solutions within a Global organization.
The DA&G Manager
- Provides oversight and ensures visibility of metrics to J&J senior leaders.
- Diagnoses a wide range of problems, including complex issues and proactively analyzes internal customer needs and proposes solutions.
- Leads identification and resolution of issues, assessing quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Manages projects and improvement initiatives, including ensuring effectiveness of delivered outcomes, within internal team as well as cross-functionally.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to develop customer focused solutions that support compliance.
- Demonstrates the willingness to try new things, capture and share learnings from successes and failures.
- An undergraduate degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience. Experience associated with metrics, reporting, and visualization tools (i.e. Tableau).
- Previous experience with identifying and initiating continuous process improvement opportunities. Project Management experience preferred.
- Experience in related Process Excellence, process improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability in working in global project teams in a matrix environment across multiple projects is required.
- Proven track record of effective communication skills, including strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and partnering skills.
- Must have experience developing and maintaining positive relationships. Must have strong collaboration skills in order to optimally partner across other business units. Recognizes and builds support for change. Engages in constructive conflict and experienced in issue remediation. Ability to build trust with peers and leaders.
