You are a senior manager with experience on managing software development. Thanks to your soft skills and people skills, you know when to “push” the team forward and when the time is right to take decisions. You have excellent time management skills and succeed in making people adhere to them.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Leading an international multi-location software development team to deliver products on time and to specification
• End-to-End responsibility for the entire software domain of our robotic products consisting of product software, smartphone apps and connectivity backend in development, technical strategy as well as budget
• Management and optimisation of software delivery processes, dependencies across disciplines and teams as well as planning of software projects
• Expert knowledge and track record of successful SW development for consumer products
• Ensuring product delivery in close cooperation with product owners and electronics, mechanical and system engineering as well as testing teams
• Competency management, coaching and team development

• Educated to at least B.Sc. degree level in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience in a functional and disciplinary leadership position, ideally in an international or multi-location setting
• Entrepreneurial mindset and strong sense of ownership
• Excellent technical expertise in various types of SW development challenges (from embedded software, cloud technologies, mobile applications and integrated services).
• Excellent communication and coaching skills
• Good understanding of programming in C / C++ and of embedded Linux
• Experience in the development process of safety critical products and / or consumer products
• Experience in managing sub-contractors and development service providers
