JOB DESCRIPTION

The 3D Systems site in Leuven is expanding rapidly and is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to reinforce the existing Manufacturing Engineering team in the area of post-processing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Optimize Finishing Operations: Improve current and implement new operations after 3D printing. Introduce facilitating techniques and automate sub-processes. You work closely with project engineers for upcoming projects, quality engineers, the production supervisor and production operators in order to streamline the production. You make suggestions for improved manufacturability and implement the changes.
  • Quality improvement: Use data analysis for continuous improvement projects and promote ‘first-time-right’. Implement further robust manufacturing operations which guarantee the stable and reliable quality we are proud of.
  • Lead Uptime Optimization: In close collaboration with Production, Maintenance and Planning, work on improving our maintenance programs and production processes in order to optimize the uptime of our machine park.
  • Time-To-Market : Do quick response actions and help to realize systematic solutions.
