Your mission

As an Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the marketing automation platform and fully leveraging its capabilities. Working closely with designers, developers, and project managers this role will implement all programmatic and operational initiatives through the marketing automation platform.

We are looking for a junior automation specialist that’s creative, analytical, tech-savvy, flexible, and especially receptive to new ideas. The world of digital is continually changing; today’s best practices may not be best practices six months from now.

Responsibilities

Once you’ve run through this learning curve, you will endorse the following responsibilities

You will start on an operational level in order to thoroughly get to know our tools and IT environment.
  • Own end-to-end creation, deployment, and maintenance of email and push notification campaigns for prospects and customers.
  • Ensuring design and layouts of emails are optimized, user and mobile-friendly.
  • Proofreading key messaging in and out of email templates.
  • Understand the motivations of audiences so you can segment as effectively as possible.
  • Securing databases for future campaigns.
  • Identify trends in the results and generate reports for stakeholders.
  • Maintain automation integration with CRM, ERP or CDP and assist in the integration of additional platforms into the automation software.
  • Work with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance.
  • Create recommendations to improve campaigns continuously.
  • Manage automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
  • Plan and perform A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs or campaign ROI, and sales growth.
  • Improve onboarding sequences, nurture and drip campaigns, re-engagement sequences, and transactional messages.
Your profile
  • You have a degree in IT, web development or digital marketing.
  • A first experience in marketing automation.
  • You can speak HTML, CSS and JavaScript fluently
  • You have a basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Selligent, or Sendinblue will be considered as an advantage
  • You are highly organized and self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities
  • Able to think critically and exercise independent judgment and discretion.
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • You are fluent in Dutch or French and have a good understanding of the language.
