About Merchery

Merchery is born from the simple observation that corporate gifts and promotional products are most of the time low quality. This billion $ market is shady, and often made of products people throw away after two weeks. Our vision at Merchery is to offer beautiful, useful and carefully sourced products that people actually want. We are an early stage startup launched in April 2020, and are now looking for a new family member.

???? The Product Team

Being part of the Product Team means directly shaping our offerings. Your core mission revolves around expanding our catalog, ensuring the accuracy of displayed information and its continual dynamism.

In your day-to-day activities, you will navigate between product research, liaising with suppliers, data updates, and negotiating pricing and terms. With a small team of three, you’ll quickly dive into various subjects and integrate seamlessly.

… is the opportunity to actively shape and refine the selection of superior merchandise within this giant corporate gifting industry. Your role in this team is pivotal as you play an integral part in steering the direction towards choosing better merchandise, and then contributing significantly to the company’s success.

As Product Intern you will participate in the products development, and also help us:

• Curate new products
• Contact existing and new suppliers
• Gather product information and complete our product database
• Build price sheets
• Update the information of the existing products
• Participate in a hands-on professional photoshoot
• Use Photoshop to edit images (we will teach you)

• You have a strong interest and sensitivity to brands in general
• You are truly interested in our mission
• You hold a bachelor/master degree or equivalent - any experience in the design/communication industry is a plus!
• You are fluent in English - any other language is a plus!
• You are confortable with multitasking (essential!!)
• You are structured and proficient with numbers.
• You are familiar with Illustrator, Photoshop and/or willing to learn
• You are available for a minimum of 4 months
• You are a strong team player with the ability to also work independently

Location: Ixelles, Belgium

Schedule: 2024 for a minimum of 4-6 months, full time

Applicant must possess EU work permit
