Job Purpose and Impact

The Material Requirements Planner, will plan, order and handle raw material and packaging needed for our chocolate production sites in Mouscron and Antwerp. You work closely together with your colleagues, the production sites, the purchasing team and the central planning team. It’s your goal to maintain the targeted inventory levels and make sure all materials are available for production when needed.

Key Accountabilities
  • Own the material requirements planning for the plants of Mouscron and Antwerp
  • Interact on a daily basis with the suppliers to assure timely deliveries
  • Work together with the external and internal warehouses
  • Align with the central planning team and the purchasing department on the forecast and the expected need of materials
  • Participate in projects that require special attention for the sourcing execution team
  • Maintain the MRP scorecard, own the action plan and set up regular meetings with the sites to discuss progress
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Good knowledge of English and French
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of Dutch is a plus
  • A first experience as a material planner
