Christian Wijnants is a prestigious Antwerp-based fashion brand, established in 2003, celebrated for its innovative knitwear collections and distinctive hand-drawn prints. With four womenswear collections each year, our designs are featured in over 150 retailers worldwide.

Job Description:
As a Product and Print Developer, you will collaborate closely with the creative team and designer to develop woven collections, managing the process from prototype to final sample. You will also create print designs, both by hand and digitally, for woven and knitwear collections. Additionally, you will assist during photo shoots and work with the marketing team on imagery and brand visuals.

Key Responsibilities:Product Development:
  • Develop technical packs (tech packs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for each garment.
  • Launch sampling packages to producers and manage the sampling process.
  • Support the sales period by completing the collection, sales tools, and entering styles in our software program.
  • Prepare our online showroom and assist during sales.
  • Attend production fittings and communicate production changes to producers.
  • Organize and attend fittings and styling days.
  • Assist during e-commerce and campaign photoshoots.
Print and Graphic Design:
  • Create textile prints by hand and digitally.
  • Prepare print repeats and placements for production.
  • Design invitations and lookbooks.
  • Manage imagery post-photoshoot.
  • Oversee all imagery related to special projects.
Profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or Fashion Development/Management.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the fashion industry.
  • Strong knowledge of garment fit, construction, and quality, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to read patterns and communicate corrections effectively.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken). Understanding Dutch is an advantage but not essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Hands-on, flexible working mentality.
  • Driver’s license (B) is a plus.
