The BIIO Markets organization (Business and ICT) develops, manages and supports via various teams a wide range of applications and processes for both our cliet and its foreign branches.

Business and ICT colleagues work closely together on this. The customers are all the application users: the dealers and traders in the Group wide front office locations, the foreign branches, the back offices and the users in other of our client’s support services.

This vacancy is specifically aimed at strengthening the team that is jointly responsible for the functional and technical support of applications used by their traders in the group wide markets room. You will functionally analyze, blueprint, develop, test, document and support these applications more precisely Murex and closely related object oriented applications. This means they are looking for a multiskilled functional analysts which can also hands-on drive the change in the application.

You have a master’s degree (or equivalent through relevant experience) with a specialization in Economics, Commercial Engineering, Civil Engineer, Computer Science and/or Mathematics.

• You have a strong interest in the financial markets (derivatives, market making, models, …).Experience within financial markets and more specifically the Murex package is required.
• You have a strong affinity with computer science and technology. In particular, a good knowledge of object oriented programming and design (eg C++, C#, Java) is required. Knowledge of Python, SQL, … is an asset.
• You excel at problem diagnosis and have creative problem-solving skills. You look for qualitative solutions that meet the requirements and you guarantee the continuity of the existing processes and systems.
• You are eager to learn, innovative and team-oriented.
• You have a smooth manner and you are strong in written and oral communication in English, and preferably also in Dutch. In addition, you are communicative and customer-friendly.
• You have a driven and dynamic personality and you dare to take responsibility. To this end, organizational skills and setting priorities are important.
• You will join a close-knit team in a rapidly evolving and internationally oriented high-tech environment
