The J&J DELIVER organization strives to deliver an exceptional customer experience through leading critical customer facing-functions such as distribution, customer service, logistics and transportation across Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.

DELIVER supports all three sectors of Johnson & Johnson: Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, and Consumer Products. DELIVER EMEA manages a complex network of Distribution centers (DC’s) and Customer Services centers across Europe, Middle East and Africa and supports multiple distribution channels to J&J’s broad range of customers.

The La Louvière EDC is a strategic pillar of the EMEA Pharma Supply Chain network. The site team strives to delight patients, customers and business partners by realizing a flawless distribution of Pharmaceutical & Consumers products to pharmacies, hospitals, affiliates and export customers worldwide.

Purpose Of Position

As a member of the Janssen team, reporting to the site manager, you team up and collaborate with all actors on the site (3PL, peers, support teams) to ensure warehouse operations and processes, including repack, are effectively managed and continuously improved to comply with the growing customer-, compliance- and business requirements.

Responsibilities/principal Duties
  • Collaborating/coordinating with our service provider (CEVA) to ensure the contractual metrics on safety, quality, service & cost are met.
  • Follow up of the day to day operational activities that are executed by the 3PL service provider, acting as the Janssen responsible on the shop floor. This includes the physical activities in warehouse & repack as well as the documentation/admin/shipping activities.
  • Identify operational performance issues and manage the swift resolution in close collaboration with the 3PL and the Site Manager
  • Identify and realize service and cost improvement projects
  • You lead/ participate quality/ compliance investigations by using different methodologies (5 why’s, RCPS, …)
  • You are SPOC for all external and internal partners and keep oversight on all operational projects on the site.
  • You embrace a culture of Safety & Compliance. Be the EH&S representative on site to cover all the EH&S aspects and actions follow up.
  • You are the Known Consignor representative for J&J on site and handle all the related issues.

Qualifications

Education / qualifications
  • An experience in distribution and/or management of outsourced activities is an asset.
  • Knowledge of She/ GMP & GDP standards / regulations is a must
  • Customer oriented.
  • Team player, cultivates collaboration, J&J Credo ambassador.
  • Strong quality / compliance mindset & analytical skills, high level of accuracy.
  • Candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity, possess good communication and negotiation skills, and be able to work in a dynamic and continuously changing environment.
  • Communicates fluent in English and French.
