THE SCOPE

With 30 years of history, today Gaming1 is one of the international leaders in both land-based and online games of chance (casino games, sports betting and poker). Its evolution at the heart of innovation is accompanied by a diversification and specialization of positions, with the creation of new cutting-edge jobs. As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Product Lead to join its Platform Product team.

This is a new role we’ve created within our Platform team to strengthen our product culture and our product. The role would report to the Platform Director and will be instrumental in elevating our product offering. Product Leads work with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to build awesome products. They would manage Product Managers/Owners and help innovate and execute product initiatives across the company and deliver value for our customers and our business. The ideal candidate would have a proven track record within Product Management with at least 6 years of experience in online gaming, fintech or similar industries, with people management experience. We are looking for driven, creative, passionate people with a strong product mindset who deeply care about the customer and have strong business acumen.

YOUR ROLE

• Lead teams through ideation, technical development and launch of products and initiatives
• Drive product development with teams of Product Owners/Managers, engineers, architects, designers, quality assurance, BI analysts
• Build up the Product roles - attract, build, manage and develop a talented, diverse and inclusive team of product people aligned with our values
• Establish a shared and aligned vision across the company for the products they are responsible for, as well as create a detailed roadmap that delivers on these
• Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance customer satisfaction
• Deeply care about our customers and be tuned in to their pain points and need, and always keep them at the forefront of product development
• Define and analyze KPI metrics that inform the success of products and initiatives, and drive product improvements to improve these
• Understand the industry and our customer base, and deliver products and initiatives that are aligned
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Product mindset
• Strong communication skills (story-telling, ability to express complex concepts in simple words, ability to discuss with engineers, designers, subject-matter experts, ability to structure requirements in a clear manner)
• At least 6 years in Product Management, and experience in a senior Product role
• Mentoring skills and ability to grow and develop Product people
• Strong people skills, and people management skills and experience
• At least a Bachelor degree in a Business or Technical field is strongly recommended
• Experience in an agile environment with focus on measurable outcomes
• Data analysis
• Creativity
• Empathy
• Business acumen
• Persistence
• Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus
• Fluent English is required; spoken French is a plus
