Product Owner Workflow Management (PEGA, Documentum and Lotus Notes) - (BRU205ZN)
Description


We are looking for a Product Owner with knowledge of Workflow Management technology (specifically PEGA) to join our Smart Automation Tribe Leadership team.

Division

Our Group Process Automation (GPA) department mission is to deliver efficient, scalable, resilient and high-quality Business Operation Processes to the Euroclear Organization and its Customers, in a safe and controlled environment through Smart Automation.

GPA is in charge of delivering solutions based on Automation tools like Business Workflow Management (Pega), Robotic (UIPath), Productivity tools (Office) and Artificial Intelligence.

We are looking for a Product Owner for Smart Automation’s Workflow Management capability, which currently consists of six squads that are responsible for project delivery, product evolution and production support of applications for three Workflow Management technologies (PEGA, Documentum and Lotus Notes – phase out phase).

As a Workflow Management capability Product Owner your main goals and responsibilities will be:

  • End-to-end ownership of the “Workflow Management” product including both functional and non-functional aspects of the product (including capability maturity, production support and platform stability).
  • Managing Product backlog for the team (delivery and maturity), making sure it is complete, transparent, understood and aligned to Corporate priorities; setting priorities for the squads Proxy Product Owners
  • Pro-active & continuous communication with stakeholders (Business and IT) to secure alignment on Feature and Epics.
  • End-to-end responsible for the value delivery committed in “workflow management” Quarterly Planning, including identification and management of all risks and dependencies (no bad surprises)
  • Ownership and management of the “Workflow Management” squads organisation, capacity and related IT Budget (change and run)

The delivery squads consists of a few internal employees and mostly of external collaborators (outsourcing contract), with an objective to work as “one team”. As Product Owner, you will be responsible to manage the related outsourcing contractual relationship. You may also have people management responsibility for a very limited number of Euroclear team members.

You will:

  • Be in charge of multiple squads with the support of Proxy Product Owner (PPO) respectively for each squad:
  • Support on backlog prioritisation in line with Business stakeholders input
  • Support the sub-squads to best achieve goals and missions, in accordance with the prioritization done at tribe level;
  • Support the Feature and Story Definition of Ready (DOR) and Definition of Done (DOD) with the Tribe Product Owner (TPO), Proxy Product Owner (PPO) and the squad respectively.
  • Collect and federate the opinions and demands of the business and IT stakeholders
  • Allocate features to different squads according to priority (aligned with Tribe Product Owner), capacity and competency constraints.
  • Ensure that value delivered is always in line with business needs and expectations.
  • Manage the squad backlog by;
    • refining features together with the Tribe Product Owner (TPO), Epic Owner (EO) and Solution Architect;
    • making the Features clear and transparent.
    • supporting the Proxy Product Owners (PPO) in breaking down features into User Stories (PBI’s) and ensuring the squads understands stories to the level needed;
  • Signs off User stories, features and releases that are compliant with the definition of done.
  • Follow up with the Proxy Product Owner (PPO) the content of each sprint.
  • Manage stakeholders expectations.
  • Together with the Proxy Product Owners and squads, manage risks (e.g. CSDR requirements, compliance, security, architecture, procurement, finance, licenses) with a holistic and end-to-end approach.
  • Assess and demonstrate value delivered at squad level.

Soft & Technical skills

  • At least 5 years’ experience in similar IT Agile Product Owner function, covering both delivery, production support and related stakeholder management
  • Previous Workflow Management technology expertise (specifically PEGA)
  • Knowledge and experience in Smart Automation
  • Business process expertise
  • Organisational skills and capacity to work autonomously.

  • Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • You have the ability to convince the different stakeholders about the capability, find opportunities, identify best potential and best way to approach it taking into consideration business and technology strategies.
  • You have the ability to articulate clearly the relevant technical information, concepts or problems for a non-technical audience
  • Complex analysis skills: able to interpret a problem in its context and systematically look for additional information to unblock it and solve it structurally.
