We’re looking for a freelance UX Product Designer

As Product/UX designer you will be part of the Online Experience & Sales team of our client, a leading financial institution in Belgium. You will work with their agile teams to further develop their app. You work very hard to ensure that everything remains very simple and user-friendly. You will help ensure that our client offers an excellent customer experience, also digitally.

Your challenge?

As a product designer you ensure that the customer’s digital experience is excellent and excels in simplicity.

You learn to understand the customer’s problems in order to develop targeted solutions that create value for our customers. Based on that, you design concepts and digital user flows and you work out prototypes and intuitive and accessible user interfaces.

You take into account technical limitations and pay attention to the smallest details. Once live, you analyze the feedback from customers and make adjustments where necessary.

You also look for general UX improvements for the app, contribute to the design system and make sure it stays up to date.

You will help raise the bar for UX and design at the company so they can offer the easiest experiences in their industry.

Since our client has a mobile app first strategy, your focus will be on the app but where necessary you will also work on our website or internet banking platform.

Are you the one? - Yes if:
You have relevant experience within product design and you can present a nice portfolio.

You have good UX and design skills and a strong interest in human behavior.

Experience in customer-facing environments with a large number of app users is a must.

You have strong interest in innovation and the possibilities of open banking. A broader view of the banking and insurance industry is a strong plus.
