Are you the motivated logistics-savvy we are looking for? We are looking for a passionate Technical Support Officer for our site in Geel.
Your Role

For our customer Lexmark, the technical support department within Kuehne-Nagel Geel was further expanded. To strengthen this department we are looking for a Technical Support Officer (new product & process introductions).
Your Responsibilities
  • You are responsible for the start-up of new activities that we carry out in our warehouse on behalf of our customer.
  • You supervise, in close cooperation with the customer, the introduction of new products.
  • You are responsible for the organization of reworks and follow up the correct implementation by our operations department.
  • You validate processes, identify quality risks, improvement possibilities.
  • You analyse quality problems from a process and/or product perspective, whereby you work out and follow up solutions together with the departments involved and/or the customer.
  • You have frequent contact with the engineering department of our customer in China and the USA, as well as with various internal departments. In joint consultation with the customer, you work out optimal solutions for the activities described above.
  • You ensure smooth cooperation and communication between the various departments involved and the customer.
  • You are the contact person for all product-related and process technical questions from the customer. You filter and analyse these questions according to importance and ensure the correct handling of these questions.

Your Skills And Experiences
  • You preferably have a bachelor/master degree in a technical direction.
  • You have a good knowledge of logistical/production/assembly processes.
  • You have strong communication skills and know how to adapt to different cultures.
  • You are proactive and know how to get things done. Your organisational skills enable you to set the right priorities.
  • You are a coach for your project teams.
  • You are creative in finding and formulating solutions.
  • Your sense of responsibility and quality orientation ensure that you always strive for the best result.
  • Very good knowledge of English and Dutch.
