  • Leading the optimization of our existing business infrastructure, buildings, and installations, as well as for the development, follow-up, and delivery of new installations. You are involved in the daily factory management, both in small and large improvement projects, to ensure safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Improving safety, operational reliability and sustainability, and compliance with SEVESO legislation are essential in your work.
  • You work alone or in a project team for each project and ensure the delivery of the optimal solution within the predetermined budget and the agreed timeline, from concept to commissioning.
  • Together with the project team, you manage the MOC and the project documentation: technical files, risk analyses, procedures, work instructions, and commissioning report for each project.
  • As a Project Engineer, you participate in the weekly project follow-up meeting. You manage most technical projects yourself, but you also support the department managers with developing improvement proposals and provide them with technical support.
  • You optimize the existing production processes by continuing to focus on automation.
  • You are closely involved in the implementation of new investment projects, investment applications, financial follow-up, and the preparation of the annual investment budget.
  • You report to the Engineering Manager.
What are we looking for
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical area, preferably electromechanics or industrial engineering.
  • You preferably already have several years of experience in a production environment.
  • Knowledge of SEVESO legislation and other safety legislation, such as the Machinery Directive or the Atex legislation, are a plus.
  • You are analytical and result-oriented and work accurately and efficiently administratively, but you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves on the shop floor.
  • You work systematically, like to organize, and think proactively.
  • You have a passion for technology and like tough challenges.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch and can express yourself well in French and English.
  • You like to work in a team.
  • You have a no-nonsense approach.
  • You are communicative and a team player.
