Project Lead Engineering

The Role

In the engineering competence center for the filtration & separation of the Medical Gas Solution division, we have a fascinating vacancy for a Project Expert. You will join a dynamic team of designers, project engineers, project leaders and technical experts (dedicated R&D team) who are working together on the New Product Development projects.

As a project expert,you will be responsible for managing projects on oil separation element from feasibility to serial production according to the CtP process. You lead these projects in close cooperation with other divisions (internal customers) & our group of technology engineers who are working on innovations on a BDC level. You have a state of the art lab with the latest measuring technologies at your disposal for testing and validation of various innovative ideas. You will drive the project and manage requests from different stakeholders, write functional specification, develop and control master specification. You do all this in an international environment.

Job responsibilities:

• Technical development & validation of product concept & process in close cooperation with engineering resources (designers, technology engineers, test engineers).
• Defining the scope & development of master specification of projectin close cooperation with marketing of various divisions (industrial air, oil free, portable & CTS), purchasing & production.
• Setting up a test program in cooperation with the test engineer.
• Analyzing the test results & writing the report, together with the test engineer.
• Project management of the project according to the concept to product methodology, leading the project team (marketing, purchasing, production).
• During the project, you closely follow up and manage the budget and timing, as agreed upon in the Master specification.
• Ensure that the demanded product and process quality is met.
• Scope management with incoming requests from different stakeholders.

• You have a Master in Civil Engineer or Industrial Engineer Electro-Mechanics.
• You are strong in mechanical design.
• You have strong analytical skills.
• You are creative in coming up with technical designs and solutions.
• You take initiative and act decisively and are self-motivated.
• You are strong in communication and you build networks easily.
• You are a real team player.
• Fluent in English.
