Your Impact

As a project manager in the supply chain planning & optimization area, you are responsible for the proper delivery of your projects. You have to manage the client’s expectations as well as the project member’s deliverables in order to achieve targets in terms of quality, budget and deadlines.

As a client facing consultant, you have a clear view of the next steps at any time in the project and are able to discuss the technical and functional requirements at a high level, without having to be an expert in the tools.

You will be responsible for the timely implementation of the planning tools, focusing on project governance, leading steering committees, budget, scope and time management, managing project members, etc. You will make sure all project and team administration is done timely and adequately.

Where you’re going to get started

The Ordina Supply Chain Optimisation (SCO) team is a team of 60+ consultants with many years of experience in solving complex planning puzzles. We work in a hybrid way and alter between the Ordina offices in Belgium (Mechelen and Lummen) or the Netherlands (Nieuwegein) and home office and occasionally a client site.

We work for major players for instance in life sciences, industry, transport and government and support the implementation of planning tools for forecasting, S&OP, production capacity planning and detailed scheduling, workforce & field service planning, transport & logistics planning, asset management & maintenance planning and optimization.

This is you
  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in a project management role within IT
  • You are strong in typical project management tools such as Excel, MS project, Jira, Agile & Scrum, …
  • You have strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • You are client and result oriented
  • You work at the same time efficient and punctual when handling documents or administrative processes
  • You are a strong communicator in Dutch, French and English
