For our client, a leading innovator in the Belgian retail sector, we are currently looking for an experience project manager to lead their team in successfully completing projects within their payment solutions program.

As the Project Manager, your primary challenge will be managing diverse teams of integration experts. You will work closely with management, functional analysts, developers, IT architects, and testers to ensure effective coordination and collaboration.

This position is a key role within the Finance department and involves close collaboration with various capabilities and domains across the organization. The ability to coordinate seamlessly across team boundaries is essential.

As the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up the project approach and planning to ensure project success.
  • Delivering project outputs within agreed scope, time, and cost parameters.
  • Ensuring smooth project progress by managing and coordinating project teams and activities.
  • Making informed decisions and enforcing them to keep projects on track.
  • Monitoring and managing project scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Proactively managing and escalating changes within the expected process.
  • Effectively managing stakeholder expectations by identifying and keeping an up-to-date overview of key stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and managing project communications to ensure clear and effective information flow.

Expected Deliverables:

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the following outputs:

  • High-quality, up-to-date, and validated project sheets in our standard format, archived in our internal repository.
  • Comprehensive listing of project deliverables in a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  • Well-defined and up-to-date project plan, including dependencies and milestones.
  • Accurate project status reports in our standard format, archived according to program guidelines.
  • Resource demand analysis for short, medium, and long-term periods, presented in our standard Excel format.
  • Establishing and maintaining an effective governance structure throughout the project duration.

Evaluation and Reporting:

Regular evaluations will be conducted to assess the execution of tasks and ensure optimal project performance. As the Project Manager, you will provide monthly status and progress reports to your project sponsor and supervisor.

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual who excels in managing complex projects and teams. Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential for success in this role.
