To support our team, we are recruiting for Minasolve a:
R&D / QC Scientist (M/W)
(Permanent Contract)

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will drive the development of cutting-edge ingredients by transforming ideas into scalable processes. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our technical know-how, ensuring product quality, and delivering high-performance solutions to the market.

Your main responsibilities for this position are:

Product & Process Development
- Develop innovative cosmetic ingredients with high added value, aligning with green chemistry principles.
- Lead lab-scale experiments and support process scale-up with industrial partners.
- Confirm product performance through analytical and application trials, and document results.

Scientific Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Engage in active collaboration with internal teams and external scientific partners to share insights and drive innovation.
- Effectively communicate the value and application potential of new ingredients to the marketing team and cross-functional stakeholders.

Laboratory & Analytical Management
- Oversee lab organization, equipment maintenance, and supply availability.
- Manage release testing, stability studies, and ensure traceable, reliable analytical data.
- Develop and maintain QC methods and specifications for raw materials and finished products.

Quality & Compliance
- Maintain product quality status in QMS and ERP systems.
- Support audits and handle product non-conformities and complaints from customers or suppliers.
- Contribute to the company’s expertise and IP portfolio by identifying patent opportunities and supporting patent filings with relevant data.


Curious and scientifically driven, you hold a Master’s degree and bring at least 2 years’ experience in Quality Control and/or R&D.

You are highly organized, capable of working autonomously, and bring precision and perseverance to your tasks.

Comfortable with analytical equipment such as Agilent HPLC and GC systems, you are not reluctant to be actively involved in hands-on lab tasks.

As the role includes both QC and R&D activities (approximately 50/50), a good knowledge of organic chemistry and a genuine interest in practical lab work are essential.

As a team player, you thrive in versatile, small-team environments where precision is essential.

You are fluent in English and proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

This position is based at our site in Louvain-La-Neuve (BE) with the possibility of remote work up to 2 days a week.
