As we continue to launch innovation growing our Belgian and Luxembourg business, we are looking to appoint a Regional Sales Manager who can be the face of our business across our three dynamic customer types (optical stores, pharmacies and ophthalmologists)
As a sales leader you will naturally be tasked with delivering commercial success with an agreed P&L, however we are looking for more than a successful salesperson. Creating a culture of making small shifts that lead to impactful changes for our teams and customers, we are looking for a visionary to plan for next year, not simply tomorrow. Key responsibilities:
As a true and passionate people leader the key task of this role is to coach and develop a diverse account management team across the Belgium and Luxemburg markets. Investing in talent is huge part of our culture and we see the professional development of our team to be our biggest responsibility
Take on the challenge of leading a sales team which calls on ophthalmologists, pharmacists and opticians/optometrists. You’ll need to learn more than one customer type to excel at this role and we are here to help broaden your leadership footprint!
Working with our sales representatives, marketing team and leadership team build channel specific plans which drive the commercial success of our business through multiple metrics. Set goals and targets for your team which drive the right customer outcomes keeping the patients that use our products at the heart of what we do
With the support of the team builds bridges with customers to understand how we can better help and support their needs, not just our own
As a key member of our leadership team, work in collaboration with other Alcon functions to remove barriers to success, collaborate on a variety of projects in areas such as finance, customer service, commercial excellence, and marketing to ensure our customers receive brilliant experiences in all interactions with Alcon
Help to drive simplicity in operations via optimisation projects to allow our business to run more efficiently, allowing your team to focus on what they do best

Key skills and experience required:
Proven experience in developing people within a complex, international commercial setting
Ability to demonstrate a strong track record of delivering market share gains across new and existing business capitalizing on all available routes to market
Ability to keep plans and operational tasks simple for the team to enable a winning focus
Courage to speak up about opportunities to the Leadership Team and functions while balancing the enterprise workplans
