Perrigo – Regulatory Associate

Summary

• Food / Food supplement support across categories and territories with the opportunity to work across medical devices and upskill
• Further develop skills in supporting with regulatory projects and support with strategy development
• Review, communicate and support in implementation of regulatory intelligence findings and supporting risk mitigation and tracking
• Supporting reporting and tracking on food projects

Major Duties And Responsibilities

Compliance first -Build partnerships -Fuel Growth

• Ensure compliance with food regulatory intelligence findings resulting in no interruption to flow of business or impact on company reputation, by communicating within RA function and sharing within the respective category teams the impact.
• Support in responding to trade association requests for information / support / impact on reg intel items.
• Be a trusted voice in regulatory intel governing food products when comminating cross functionally.
• Work in close partnership with the cross functional team, being a trusted partner. And the Sr Associate in the category to deliver regulatory objectives.
• Support the affiliate regulatory teams to ensure product success and timely delivery.
• Deliver the regulatory actions needed to get products to market and keep them there. Ensure our company are synonymous with world-class regulatory documentation to ensure regulatory aspects are never a barrier to our commercial goals.
• Managing a diverse number of projects in parallel, with different senior leaders drawing on their time / requiring their focus
• Reviewing regulatory intelligence findings to support category understanding and where necessary sharing strategy for smooth transition for any changes required as a result of regulatory findings.
• Support in review of regulations vs formulations / packaging claims / artwork for compliance.
• Supporting local teams with requirements and requests to support their launches
• Understanding and overcoming the legal and regulatory interpretation of healthcare product legislation, guidelines and established practice in local markets
  

Person Specification and Competencies

• Degree educated in a scientific or legal field as a minimum
• 1-2 years regulatory experience or other relevant function in Food and /or Food Supplements is desirable
• Good understanding of the workings of regulatory is also desirable
• Project and Time management skills
• Competent in Microsoft Office
