The Sales Representative Professional Care is responsible for driving sales within the designated territory (Flanders and Brussels), with a focus on Surgical and Wound Care.
Your responsibilities
  • The main focus is to maximise sales revenue and profitability in the designated territory across the full portfolio of professional care products in line with company objectives
  • Encourage market development and deliver outstanding customer service and satisfaction
  • Identify and develop business opportunities within the hospital professional care business within targeted accounts, through developing high-level customer contacts with a range of stakeholders including surgeons, consultant neonatologists, KOLs, other healthcare professionals, buyers, finance leads, and procurement managers
  • Effectively manage existing accounts to ensure continued business
  • Maintain a territory business plan with strategic objectives tailored to company goals
  • Progress sales conversions and increase the profile of the Medela professional care brands
  • Specific clinical sales focus will be in the areas of Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery, Respiratory Medicine, Intensive Care, Trauma, General Surgery, Neonatology, Maternity, and any other departments that would have use for Medela’s portfolio of products
Your qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, healthcare, or a related field
  • Excellent experience related to medical sales
  • A medical or nurse background is desirable
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in Dutch, orally and written
  • Good knowledge of English, French orally and written
  • Full driving licence
