Our people are our most valuable asset. To support and reinforce our IT team we are looking for a SAP PP Functional Analyst.

Mission and Key Tasks

As member of the Supply Chain IT team, the SAP Logistics Functional Analyst is supporting, maintaining and improving the global SAP template for the procurement, warehousing and production processes. This role is responsible for translating business requirements into relevant system solutions.

SAP module of expertise: Production Planning (PP)

Main Responsibilities
  • Validation, implementation and documenting of the changes approved by the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
  • Participate in projects ensuring a qualitative implementation of new solutions as defined in the blueprint
  • Provide second line support to the business users via the helpdesk tool
  • Customizing of new setups in close co-operation with other team members
  • Writing technical specifications for program changes to be implemented by the Integration & Development team
  • Define, safeguard and improve the Ontex worldwide business applications template to support the end-to-end business scenarios
  • Collaborate on improving the enterprise architecture and project governance
Background and Experience
  • University degree or equal by experience
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP customizing
  • Experienced in the SAP modules of expertise and familiar with the corresponding business scenarios.
  • Knowledge of other modules is a bonus
  • Ability to convert business requirements into a technical design
  • Strong analytical mind and a flexible, pro-active and result driven attitude
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Eager to learn
  • Working in an international environment and willing to travel occasionally for international projects
  • Excellent knowledge of English, other languages are a plus
