Your journey with us

We are looking for a Senior Automation Developer, to expand our Tax Transformation team, based in Zaventem.

• You are part of tax technology and transformation team delivering digital solutions for Indirect Tax compliance services for large multinational clients
• You contribute in design and development of Process automation projects
• You are involved in the execution, deployment and support of Tax transformation solutions where you work alongside core IT developers
• Identifying key requirements based on the client interactions/workshops and translating them in tangible technology solutions
• Draft technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guide, etc.
• Focus and learning the ins and outs of Liquid coding
• Identify ways to improve efficiency of existing business processes
• Help with ad hoc troubleshooting efforts throughout business solutions and processes
• Technical expertise and aptitude to raise awareness of new and emerging technologies in areas of Digitization and automation.
  
  

Let’s Talk About You

• Master or Bachelor degree in computer science, business informatics, engineering / technical background
• You have at least 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in Process automation and transformation.
• You have experience in technical analysis, implementation, project management and rollout of RPA projects.
• You have strong knowledge / certifications from one of the RPA technologies like Blue Prism (preferred), Automation Anywhere, UI Path
• You have good understanding of automation best practices, methodologies and APIs
• You have experience with code / no code applications (e.g. K2) with basic knowledge of any programming language. (such as Java Script, C#, Python, VBScript etc)
• Knowledge in SharePoint, HTML and.Net is an asset.
• You have strong analytical and logical skills.
• You have passion for process optimization and business process analysis and are therefore aware of the latest technologies in this market
• You are eager to learn new technologies and loves solving complex problems.
• Understanding of tax and accounting compliance processes and a strong interest in finance is an asset
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• You are a real team player with excellent communication skills in English
• International travel may be required.

In the current compliance landscape, everything is about digital and automation. Within Global Tax Center (Europe) , we have therefore built a dedicated Tax Technology Team that focuses on:

• Developing and commercialization of proprietary indirect tax compliance solutions with a global footprint;
• Driving internal digital transformation initiatives using robotics process automation, AI, machine learning, data wrangling solutions, data analytics and dashboarding.
