Your role
As a Senior Business Developer you will be responsible for driving the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding the market presence of our SaaS solution for fuel stations. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the fuel retail industry and SaaS business models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise software sales, account management and strategic planning.
What your daily responsibilities will be
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Identify and engage potential clients, partners, and stakeholders in the fuel station industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at fuel station chains and independent operators.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Collaborate with the product and development teams to align customer needs with product capabilities.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine value propositions.
- Drive lead generation efforts through networking, events, and targeted outreach.
- Provide input on pricing strategies and go-to-market plans.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes affecting the fuel retail sector.
- Report on key metrics, sales forecasts, and business development activities to senior management.
Your profile & qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in B2B enterprise sales, business development, or SaaS sales.
- Proven track record of successfully closing deals and driving revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of the fuel station market and/or enterprise software solutions.
- Experience working with SaaS solutions and an understanding of cloud-based business models.
- Ability to understand and discuss IT systems at a conceptual level, enabling productive collaboration on system setup and integration options with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages.
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
