Introductie

Our client is looking for a senior data project manager to join the data & analytics team, with as main

responsibilities:

  • Data project management: to manage the portfolio of projects in the data & analytics team
  • Data strategy: to support the head of data & analytics in updating the data strategy, and transforming it into

concrete projects

  • Legal/DPO: to manage the legal/DPO track end-to-end for different projects

Organisatie

Responsibilities:

  • Data project management: manage the portfolio of projects in the data & analytics team:

o Keep track of deadlines and coordinate between the data team, the central PMO team and the IT teams to

ensure that all documentation and deliverables are submitted in time

o Write business requirements and other project documentations

o Create slide decks for the executive committee to give updates on the data roadmap, on projects, etc.

  • Data strategy: support the head of data & analytics in updating the data strategy, and transforming it into

concrete projects:

o Align with senior executives from other departments on the data strategy

o Concretize the overarching data strategy within different domains. (e.g. work out a strategy for the role of AI in

claims automation)

o Create slide decks to support and explain the data strategy

  • Legal/DPO lead within the data team: manage the legal/DPO track end-to-end for different projects:

o Workshops with business & legal/DPO to ensure compliance for different data projects

o Documentation of processes in risk assessment templates and in the privacy register

o Write out standardized processes to execute and industrialize analytics projects in a compliant way


Functie

  • Extensive experience in project management, and senior stakeholder management (including senior executives

and stakeholders from the management board)

  • Experience in defining a data strategy and roadmap
  • Experience with legal/DPO aspects of data projects
  • Proactive and takes ownership

Functie-eisen

  • Thorough knowledge of the following data domains:

o Advanced analytics: end-to-end knowledge of analytics projects: from analysis to industrialization; knowledge

of how machine learning should be integrated into processes

o Data transformation/management/governance: knowledge about data delivery, data warehouse, report

building, data governance concepts

o IT data activities: workings of an IT data delivery team, IT architecture, …

  • Fluent in Dutch or French and passive knowledge of the second language
  • Fluent in English
