- Lead transversally all financial aspects of Inventory & Write Offs (WO) and E2E Vaccines Supply Chain related topics within the global Vaccines Finance organization.
- Provide finance leadership for global Supply Chain operations; (1) lead financial planning and reporting activities / processes for Inventory & WO, (2) embed the right governance to realize business objectives, and (3) provide business oversight and sound decision-making at GSK Vaccines level.
- This position is critical for the overall success of the Vaccines business, to ensure right business decision regarding working capital within the Inventory reduction ambition.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following
- Drive and support the preparation of operational and strategic governance meetings for Inventory & WO: Monthly Inventory & WO steerco, CFO reviews, etc to ensure that the right business decisions will be taken.
- Drive & lead the Monthly E2E WO closing preparation providing right insights gather from different stakeholders (Finance Lead, Global Supply Chain, Brand teams, Operations, etc), including been responsible for quarterly judgment reports presented to Finance Lead.
- Lead design, implementation and execution of the financial planning process for Supply Chain operations, in cooperation with the business, to reach alignment in Inventory & WO between sales, operations planning, and related financials (Budget/Update)
- Drive the application of existing Enterprise level financial strategy, processes and procedures; translate these into Vaccines financial strategy, processes and procedures for Supply Chain operations to ensure the correct trade-offs are made at GSK Vaccines level between short term profit delivery and longer-term investment.
- Provide financial leadership, coaching, council and support to Supply Chain Analytics team.
- Work across Supply Chain operations to identify cost drivers and implement initiatives to deliver efficiency savings, such as driving ETE Manufacturing performance and reductions of inventory, write-offs, batch release lead times, re-volume and the value of quarantined goods.
- Drive the development and transfer of knowledge from the own expertise throughout the organization to enable GSK to reach its objectives, and ensure continuous improvement and process excellence.
- Build and sustain a professional network both inside and outside of the organization that contributes to the realization of GSK-wide interests; identify and act upon high-level trends and opportunities within the network and be an advocate for GSK to a variety of stakeholders from the own expertise
- When requested, deputize for the Supply Chain Finance Director, Manufacturing in governance meetings related to Inventory & WO.
Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- University degree (BSc) or equivalent in Finance / Accounting
- Minimum of 8+ years professional finance experience
- Exposed to lead financial aspects of the inventory and/or financial inventory process
- Demonstrated experience in financial management & planning, and knowledge of Supply Chain and finance processes
- Fluent English

- French is an asset
