We are currently recruiting for a (Senior) Financial Analyst EMEA for our Cardiac Rhythm Management division to be based in our EMEA HQ in Zaventem, BelgiumThe (Senior) Financial Analyst position is a critical role to enable the commercial and financial leadership to drive systematic data support and data-based decision making for all topics having a direct impact on the financial success of the business unit. It includes sales- and margin analysis, SG&A cost analysis, market data analysis, ad-hoc analysis as well as systematic data support.In addition, the (Senior) Financial Analyst acts as true business partner to the commercial managers as well as the support functions, who are relying on the financial knowledge and expertise of their financial partners.Your Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted business partner at all commercial levels of measurable value creation within the area of responsibility
  • Work with large, complex data sets to support implementation of data solutions that help predict, improve and measure the success of key business outcomes
  • Develop and run reports and provide analysis to management among all Business Units in relation to region plan
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills focused on data deliverables in a way that lays groundwork for future successes
  • Organize and maintain a system with all relevant data easily accessible to Sales management, interacting with colleagues or third parties
  • Ensure that best operating processes are in place in order to timely and effectively gather information from sales and marketing as required
  • Drive forecasting accuracy, transparency, and standardization to support the business on forward-looking decision making.
  • Active participation in improvement projects.
You Profile
  • Master’s degree in finance, economics or a related field or equivalent in experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience of financial planning and analysis, preferably also accounting
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerBI
  • Good experience with SAP ERP and Hyperion Planning/Essbase systems preferred.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong Business Partnering skills
  • Self-motivated and pro-active, setting high standards for success.
  • High accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail. Audit-proof preparation of backups, details, and bottom-up builds
  • Fluency in English
  • Team player within a matrix organization design
