My large Gaming client is looking for a Software Developer skilled with Golang/PHP/Node.jsto join their development team located in Aalst, on a long-term contract outside IR35.

Software Developer Responsibilities
  • Application development in Golang and PHP providing search and interfacing with other company applications
  • Consistent delivery of changes and continuous improvement of the search engine
  • Writing unit tests, end-to-end tests and removing existing technical debt
  • Architecture design, microservice development and related monitoring
  • Regular migration of existing technologies to new versions

Requirements
  • Solid hands-on experience with PHP and/or Golang on a daily basis, with provable project experience
  • Experience with Node.js
  • Experience of full-text search, information retrieval, indexing, language models, etc. is an advantage
  • Able to write readable, structured code, divided into small units, and application layout
  • Exposure/understanding of all/some of the following: Elasticsearch, API, SQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ
  • Knowledge of versioning, Linux, and how to work with Virtualization
  • Fluent English (spoken & written)
