Position Summary

We are looking for a software developer to maintain and create plugins into various well-known mapping applications, and to develop next generation web applications for the managing and sharing of reality data with users.

Your Day-To-Day
  • To maintain existing and create new integrations of our 3D Mapping SDK into popular mapping applications.
These integrations require you to master different programming languages, although not all of them in depth in case of existing plugins.

Ample time will be given to create new integrations, to learn the mapping application and the programming language.

The Existing Integrations Are
  • Bentley MicroStation, written in C / C++
  • ESRI ArcMap and ArcPro, written in C#
  • ESRI ArcGIS online, written in Typescript
  • QGIS, written in Python
  • Bentley iModel.js, written in Typescript
  • To develop next-generation web applications for managing, sharing, annotating, measuring, analyzing of reality data.
Consolidation of existing features from different applications into a common Bentley platform are also needed.

The Desired Skills Needed For This Challenge
  • Full-stack Typescript / Node / Webpack
  • Web technologies HTML5, CSS/LESS, React, JSON and XML
  • Git version control
  • PHP basics
  • SQL basics
  • Docker basics
