Are you the Software Test Engineer we’re looking for?

Televic Education develops high-quality educational technology. These innovative solutions incorporate a range of classroom, web-based and mobile technologies that are used daily in hundreds of classrooms, training centers, educational publishers, and public authorities worldwide.

In order to support our growth, we are on the lookout for a Software Test Engineer. Join a young dynamic R&D team that focuses on taking Televic Education’s innovative solutions to the next level.
You’ll collaborate with our senior test engineer, 6 developers and 2 product managers, focusing on our overall quality strategy, whilst reporting directly to the R&D manager.


Working as a Software Test Engineer

  • You review our software solutions on function, usability, performance, security, risk, scalability, etc.
  • You develop a variety of test scenarios, and you write automated tests for those test scenarios.
  • You execute manual test scenarios as well.
  • You’ll perform root cause analyses and report software bugs.
  • You focus on future improvement and keep tabs on the latest trends.
  • You develop and perform load tests to ensure that assessmentQ can handle high stakes mass exam sessions for tens of thousands of students at the same time.

Professional skills we’re looking for

  • You are passionate about software testing and/or software development.
  • You have affinity with web applications.
  • You have experience with tools that help you manage your test cases and/or defects (SpiraTest, JIRA, Bugzilla, HP ALM…).
  • You have a relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree (e.g. ICT, Computer Sciences…).
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
But our ideal colleague…

  • Has an eye for detail and is quality oriented.
  • Has experience with and/or is interested to learn about API testing, BDD frameworks (f.e. Cucumber or SpecFlow)
  • Has experience with and/or is interested to learn about Load testing tools (f.e. Octoperf, JMeter, Taurus…)
  • Has affinity with Agile methodologies and/or software development.
