Job Description

The global center of Software Development for Envista, Medicim, located in Mechelen (Belgium), is world leader in innovative software solutions for the dental profession. We investigate, develop, maintain and support innovative software solutions for dentists and dental technicians. Our software solutions create intuitive workflows for image acquisition, diagnostics, treatment planning, prosthetic CAD/CAM and dental team collaboration in order to treat patients better. DTX Studio is our flagship software suite.

For our frontend applications, we are looking for a software test engineer:

• You will be responsible for functional testing of our 3D interactive applications on Windows and Mac . You join a Scrum team for which you are the responsible software tester. You interact with the team to secure test coverage of new functionalities.
• You will design clear, concise and effective manual test cases based on functional specifications.
• You will review and approve test cases written by other team members and thoroughly execute test cases on the new features.
• You are responsible for regression testing based on impact analysis
• You will work in close collaboration with the development team and functional analysis team.
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least two years of experience in software testing
• You have a system-based approach and excel at working in a cross-functional environment.
• You are innovative, self-motivated and constantly looking for ways to uncover defects
• You have a strong analytical mindset and you get your energy from understanding and testing complex systems to assure safety and quality.
• You are a quick learner and attracted to work in rapidly changing environments.
• You are fluent in English (spoken and written).
