VF Global Packs (Eastpak, Kipling) is looking for an exceptional Email & CRM Specialist to join our CRM & Innovation team based in Antwerp, Belgium.Let’s talk about the role!
You as Email & CRM Specialist will be the primary owner of our commercial email strategy and execution.
In collaboration with the Digital Marketing and eCommerce teams you will create and build engaging email campaigns, newsletters and automated journeys.
You will drive customer acquisition and amplify our brand, purpose, and commercial campaigns through the email channel. You build out a strategy to grow our customer database, refine and segment your target audiences and create compelling campaigns for interacting with our fanbase.
How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:
- Building an annual roadmap for email marketing, considering the brand’s Go-to-market strategy, key commercial moments, brand activation and promotional calendars.
- Being the SPOC for the Digital Marketing, trading & Merchandising teams to extend and reinforce our campaigns, through the email channel.
- Protecting the unique identity of each our brands (Eastpak, Kipling) in the execution of email campaigns and acquisition strategy.
- Executing the email campaign creation and delivery in line with each of our brand’s guidelines.
- Partnering with the eCommerce and omnichannel teams to grow the email database, build a segmentation strategy and finds targeting opportunities to increase relevance of your messages and contribute to the DTC revenue growth.
- Ensuring the email channel provides a best-in-class experience in terms of deliverability, readability, engagement, and conversion, based on data and user feedback.
- Building a reporting structure, including dashboarding for the key performance indicators relevant for email; sends, deliverability, opens, clicks, conversions, … with a clear focus on supporting the brand’s digital sales and acquisition.
- Modernizing the email channel as a whole, including templating, automation and reporting.
- Building a structure to move from ad hoc and static campaigns to automated messaging based on user interactions – e.g. abandoned Cart/browse messaging and paving the road for future improvements in line with the loyalty strategy.
- Building a structure for content personalization
- Partnering with other teams to increase consistency throughout all email communication
- 2-3 years of experience in the same position
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Cross-Media Management, Multimedia, Communication or similar.
- You had a first experience in Email marketing, in an international context or agency.
- Knowledge of HTML and email creation techniques are a prerequisite, and hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
- You are fluent in English
- First and foremost, you are a team player who enjoys interaction with your fellow players in your own and the supporting teams within the Global Packs organization and broader VF Europe structure.
- You live and breathe email and have the constant will to make impact in someone’s inbox.
- You can balance creative output with a clear focus on growing the key KPI’s or email acquisition.
- You have a constant drive for change and improvement, with the willingness to learn new techniques.
- Through previous experience or education, you have a solid knowledge of the technical landscape of email, including different clients, devices and technical best practices.
- You understand the fine line between commercial, brand and go-to-market messaging.
- You have an appetite for understanding user interaction and building messages that drive engagement and interaction.
- You’re able to find and unlock opportunities withing the brand target audience and segmentation to grow acquisition and conversion from email.
- You are able to analyze, interpret email performance data and are comfortable presenting to an audience.
