Purpose of the position
The Storyteller will create audiovisual and graphical content regarding the story behind the brand, consistent across all touchpoints.
He/She will contribute to the growth of the Brussels Airlines brand, by assuring that all content sends out the right message to the right audience.
The impact of his/her created stories will highlight our slogan, “You’re in good company” in a tangible & emotional way.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Key result area 1
Content creation
Main activities:
- Create day to day content (video, pictures, gifs,…) from A to Z, adapted to the different marketing channels and to their place in the sales funnel, to increase the emotional connection with our passengers
- Translate existing stories within the company to graphical and/or video series that are in line with the brand image, and that showcase our slogan “You’re in good company”
- Spot opportunities and act on trending topics and possible top topicals
- Highly effective at translating ideas into videos, visuals & audio material
- Keep up with the best practices and trends in visual storytelling in order to provide new ideas on how we can improve our digital presence
- Key Result Area 2
Audiovisual Content coordination
Main activities:
- Have a close collaboration with team members in digital marketing, branding, and 121 communication to make sure all channels are visually aligned
- Be responsible for the coordination of the audiovisual part of brand campaigns, in close cooperation with the Brand Manager
- Be present at outsourced photo and video shoots to make sure all material fits our brand image and answers to the needs of all different marketing channels
Your profile
Required diploma and required experience
- Professional Bachelor in Multimedia / Graphic Design / Video or any other similar education
- 2-3 years of experience in digital storytelling
Technical skills required for the job
- Excellent in English and one of the following languages: French and/or Dutch. Any additional language is an asset.
- Social Media for Business expertise
- Ability to create videos from A to Z
- Professional experience in Photoshop / Premiere Pro / Lightroom
Behavioural skills required for the job
- Ability to work under pressure and to manage diverse tasks at the same time
- Autonomous and organized
- Able to work transversally with other teams and departments
- Team player with genuine respect for people
- Strong communication skills
