Make your mark for patients


We’re looking for a Strategic Investment Validation Manager who is visionary, rigorous, and inspiring to join our team, based in our Braine-l’Alleud campus in Belgium.


About the role

You will define, plan, and lead the Qualification & Validation (Q&V) strategy for major investment projects (>€50M), including new builds or complete revamps of production units. You ensure compliance, quality, and performance of facilities, while uniting a multidisciplinary team around operational excellence.


Who you’ll work with

You’ll be part of an integrated team of internal and external members, working closely with engineering, production, quality, IT, EHS, and regulatory authorities. You are the Q&V point of contact for large projects and represent the function during audits.


What you’ll do

  • You define and deploy the Qualification & Validation strategy for major projects
    • You build, coach, and motivate your project Q&V team
    • You ensure GMP/GEP/GxP compliance and inspection readiness
    • You lead qualification of equipment, utilities, systems, and processes
    • You manage risks, deviations, CAPA, and change control
    • You contribute to validation budget planning and monitoring


Interested? For this role, we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills

  • Master’s or PhD in science, engineering, or equivalent
    • 10 years’ experience in pharmaceutical qualification/validation
    • Leadership and experience managing multidisciplinary teams
    • Mastery of GxP, CFR, HSE standards, and industrial processes
    • Excellent communication in French and English
    • Critical thinking, innovation, and ability to manage complexity
