Job Description:

As our Strategic Planning Analyst you will support UPS leadership in the development of long-term goals and strategic objectives. Analyzing and monitoring internal/external trends that affect profitability, growth, and productivity will be part of your day-to-day role.

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional who is analytical with strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Development of forecasts/scenario’s and financial models to support the long-term strategic planning process.
    • Data gathering, mining and analysis
      • Analyzing the financial data gathered for patterns, trends, clues and insights depending on the analysis request/situation
      • Qualitative and Quantitative Analytics
    • Different database and programming types
      • Querying internal and external databases. Transforming data into the appropriate format using different analytical tools
      • Match common data fields (primary & secondary key) from multiple unrelated systems or databases
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Economics
  • MS Excel advanced knowledge
  • 3 year’s relevant work experience in business analytics with demonstrated proficiency in quantitative analysis using MS Excel in a business environment. These strong data analysis skills should include an ability to invent new approaches and to explain their work clearly
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master degree
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and SQL
