Apply today for this exciting opportunity to be part of the #CAR-T team!As a member of the Advanced Therapies Supply (ATS) Planning team, the Supply Network Planning Leadis responsible for partnering with Advanced Therapies Sites and Global Supply Chain colleagues on key initiatives in the planning function. The Lead will be accountable for development of tools and processes to manage raw material flow within the network partnering closely with site material planners. This role plays a key part in maturing and operating the Supplier and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and developing tools to effectively manage storage capacity and facilitate inventory optimization across our network. They will also work cross-functionally across many groups including Planning, Warehousing, Operations, Data Analytics, Procurement, and Finance.Key Responsibilities- Shape the governance model for raw material flows in the network to facilitate optimized supply network planning.
- Create what-if supply scenarios to continuously improve performance relating to inventory balancing in a multi node landscape.
- Monitor system and process accuracy across applicable planning systems and processes.
- Develop harmonized forecasting models for critical suppliers and lead continuous improvement efforts to advance capacity planning and S&OP process capabilities.
- Understand Advanced Therapies network, storage capacity, and supply risks. Issue and bottleneck coordination as appropriate.
- Maintain Material flows and Material Master resources including master data parameters across nodes.
- Support digital capability building to make the planning process more automated, efficient, and robust.
- Quickly learn and ingest the complexities of advanced therapies materials including their dynamic nature.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s or equivalent University Degree is required, preferably with a focus in Engineering or Supply Chain
- Minimum six (6) years of relevant work experience
- Experience working directly in Supply Chain Planning as a functional expert in one or more Planning Capabilities, such as site capacity planning and/or global product supply planning (e.g. raw materials, etc.)
- Strong Data Modeling / Analytics experience
- Demonstrated capability to take initiative and drive solutions independently in an ambiguous environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work across organizational boundaries through influence and partnership
- Demonstrate integrity and core values, and conveys a sense of urgency to drives issues to closure
- Experience within one or more of the following processes: network planning & optimization, sales and operations planning, inventory management, and/or master production schedule planning
- Experience working with 3rd Party Logistics providers, including management of temperature-regulated materials (cold chain logistics)
- Experience with Planning Systems or equivalent systems, such as SAP, OMP, and/or sIDMa
- Experience within the Biotech, Pharmaceutical, or equivalent regulated industry
- Experience managing or leading projects
- Supply Chain or Six Sigma Certification (e.g. APICS, Green Belt, Black Belt)
- Requires fluency in English (oral and written)
- Requires up to 10% domestic and international travel
