We have an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Analyst to join our team in Brussels.
Reporting into the European Head of Public Affairs, you will be responsible for building our knowledge and presence on sustainability with EU institutions and related stakeholders. Outcomes include positioning our members as the leading professionals in the market, and ensuring adoption of our standards, thought leadership, credentials and other professional outputs.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working with expert members and teams across RICS to establish RICS as a trusted partner in sustainability and ESG for EU institutions and related stakeholders.
- Explore and pursue partnership and funding opportunities to advance RICS’ sustainability agenda.
- Develop and coordinate position papers, consultation responses and other relevant content.
To be successful in this role, you will have/be:
- Proven project management skills, e.g. in terms of planning, output and working with or coordinating a diverse range of stakeholders including members
- Ability to work project-based and in a team environment
- Have the confidence and poise to engage with stakeholders of all levels
- Excellent written communication skills
- The ability to consider information and create concise summaries and action plans.
- Fluent in English, both written and oral. Any other European language is desirable .
- Existing knowledge of, or a keen demonstratable interest in, the built environment and/or sustainability.
- Able to communicate effectively in writing, orally and with strong presentation and influencing skills
- Understanding and experience of EU funding grant is desirable
