YOUR ROLE

AECis the automotive solutions company and official importer of DODGE and RAM vehicles into Europe in cooperation with the manufacturer Stellantis (former Fiat Chrysler, FCA).

We are looking for a Tech Support Specialist (m/f/d)

These will be your tasks at AEC Automotive Systems:

  • First level of assistance for the dealers
  • Provide technical support to resolve issues on customer vehicles quickly
  • Closing the tickets according to the set timing
  • Answer end customer inquiries
  • Document known technical problems and inform other departments to drive resolution
  • Issue technical service bulletins about known technical problems
  • Attend the OEM technical trainings for related products
  • Set KPIs to measure the business performance
  • Track the recurrent after sales issues and set action plans to support the responsible functions to investigate and put solutions in place
  • Work very close with Flying Doctor regarding issues which can´t be resolved remotely.
  • Assist in developing maintenance & repair parts packages
YOUR PROFILE

Education/Experience Requirements

A successful candidate should possess a high school diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical/electronic subjects or similar field and at least 3-years experience in a similar role.

An automotive master technician diploma would also be beneficial if above criteria are not met.

He/she must speak fluent English. Speaking German language is considered an important plus and, together with experience in the automotive sector, will constitute preferential choice.

Skills

A successful tech support specialist is a trustworthy professional with important technical knowledge, outstanding record-keeping and analytical abilities. The chosen candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of data. Excellent communication and computer skills are required.

Specific work elements

Flexibility in daily business management and strong commercial attitude. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, vendors and customers. Skill in providing ideas and solutions to improve the business.
