To support its growth, ACENSI Belgium is recruiting for one of our client, in the public field, a "Technical Architect - Azure/Infrastructure" (F/M/X).


Objectives of the job

As a Technical Architect, you are responsible for a given technology domain within the company.

This might be infrastructure, databases, cloud, security, IAM...

You are responsible for communicating, researching, planning, improving and governing the Technical Architecture of the company, mainly by working on reference architectures for business projects and enhancements on both.

Your main tasks will be :

  • Provide technical leadership and insights for the technologies that have been identified / required as part of a solution (to Solution Architects)

  • Apply IT best practices and architectural standards to follow

  • Provide expertise in your disciplines and areas

  • Maintain roadmap for product components per technology area.

  • Coach, guide and support implementation team, working closely with our partner

  • Validate and provide feedback on detailed designs


Required Knowledge and Experience

Business experience required

  • Senior: > 8 Years of experience as Technical Architect

  • Experience with translating applications requirements into cloud and Infrastructure Architectures.

  • Experience with making of roadmaps and business cases.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of datacenters & cloud architecture

  • You can document the environment using Archimate in SparX

  • Knowledge of : Azure automation, infrastructure as code, consumption &licensing, Oracle/Postgres databases, data analytics on Azure, is a plus


Personal Skills

  • Ability to understand and apply the long-term vision and tactical needs

  • You are customer-oriented and security-minded

  • Excellent analytical and technical skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills


Language requirement

Fluent in Dutch, French & English
