Trainee, Digital Marketing Analytics & Performance - BRUSSELS
Ansell is looking for a passionate student based in Anderlecht, Belgium to join the Digital Marketing Department on a part-time basis for this academic year.
The role is open for a start date as soon as possible until 30 June 2026. As a member of the Ansell Brussels team, the trainee will be vital in marketing operations, analytics & collaborate with central digital. What will your role be?
Working in collaboration with our Digital Marketing team, and reporting to the Sr Manager, Global Digital Marketing Analytics & Intelligence:
- Data operations & standards
- Clean, structure, and standardize performance data across regions/platforms.
- Maintain and improve naming conventions (UTMs, campaign/ad set/ad names) and reference tables/lookups.
- QA data flows and dashboards; flag anomalies, gaps, and tracking issues.
- Campaign analytics & optimization
- Support pre-launch checks (tracking, audiences, objectives, budgets) and post-launch monitoring.
- Identify quick wins and deeper opportunities in-flight (e.g., creative rotation, targeting, bidding, landing pages).
- Prepare concise weekly snapshots and deeper monthly readouts with clear recommendations.
- Social listening & market insights
- Build and refine social listening queries to track topics, and sentiment related to our product.
- Summarize insights and opportunities for campaign strategy and content planning.
What will you bring to Ansell?
- Analytical basics: Comfortable with marketing metrics (impressions, CTR, CPC, CVR, CPA, ROAS), funnels, and A/B testing concepts.
- Spreadsheet skills: Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets (lookups, pivots, basic formulas).
- Detail orientation: You enjoy tidy data, consistent naming, and well-documented processes.
- Communication: Clear, concise writing; able to turn numbers into “so what?” insights.
- Growth mindset: Willing to learn new tools and pick up light scripting or connectors if needed.
- Preferably expertise with data and analytics of marketing operations measurement methodologies; proficiency in statistics and reporting
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional areas (Digital innovations, IT, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Finance) to define goals and report on health of each project
Nice to have (teach-able if not yet mastered)
- BI & dashboards: Looker Studio or Power BI for building clean, automated reports.
- Social listening: Experience with tools like Meltwater (or similar), and crafting Boolean queries.
- APIs & connectors: Understanding how data flows from paid platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, LinkedIn) into dashboards; familiarity with UTMs and governance.
- Data basics: Intro SQL, regex for query building, or experience with tag managers/analytics (e.g., GA4, GTM).
