UCB is seeking a passionate and driven graduate to jointhe (uDevelop) Graduate Development Program (GDP) in Pharma Sciences and its Operational Department.The GDP aims to develop the academic knowledge of graduates through alearning and practical journey at UCB, which enables them tomake an impact in the business.
You will have the opportunity to gain experience within Pharma Sciences Strategy & Excellence team for about 24 months. The position is based Braine l’Alleud, Belgium.
We focus on building a program where a UCB Graduate can work in collaboration with diverse teams in and outside Pharma Sciences and will be exposed to a set of unique formal trainings and access a network of peers inside the Digital Transformation Program.
With this program you will acquire a broad range of professional experience and skills in pharmaceutical process optimization and digital. You will have the chance to start your career in a global corporate environment and shape your professional journey in the pharmaceutical industry. - You are eager to take accountability for your own workplan, driving deliverables, manage multiple internal and external stakeholders and contribute to parallel workstreams.
- You are self-motivated, pro-active and ready to drive and motivate team mates to achieve deadlines, maintaining engagement and energy for the project.
Two graduate journeys are never the same… and this one is an exciting one! There’s a lot more to it, but to get started, this is what is expecting you by the time you join us:
- You will be a key player in the digitalization of the operational processes (from data to insights and decisions).
- You will support and orchestrate the workflow for process improvement: from process capture, towards to-be process design, digital solution implementation and stakeholders training and satisfaction follow-up.
- You will collaborate with the data integration team to ensure the datasets and digital applications meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- You will deliver Business Intelligence solutions tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into operational workflows in collaboration with different expert teams within UCB.
- You will also be expected to contribute or lead some digital learning and change programs.
Ideally, this is what your background looks like. However, we are happy for you to challenge us that you’re the right one for this job even if these boxes are not really ticked.
- Recently graduated from information science, computer science, engineering or a similar discipline, or alternatively in Biotechnology / Chemistry with a strong affinity for data analytics and visualization.
- Possess good understanding of lean thinking and agile mindset and principles.
- Effective program communication and managing the culture in line with UCB’s values is an essential leadership component.
- And of course, excellent command of English is a must. It would be great if you can also demonstrate competencies such as: Power-Bi, Qlik sense, SQL.
